Oath Pizza began on Nantucket Island in 2015, and eight years later, on Monday, June 5, it opened its 11th full-fledged restaurant, this time in Wellesley, according to a press release.
The franchise's newest location in Linden Square is owned by Bill Ebben.
“We are beyond excited and brimming with optimism as we team up with Bill Ebben and his family to bring Oath Pizza to the lively Wellesley community," said Drew Kellogg, CEO of Oath Pizza. "With Bill's deep connection to this city, we have no doubt that he will spearhead boundless success."
Oath Pizza specializes in hand-stretched and grilled pizzas, with options for a thin, thick, or gluten-free crust.
The new Wellesley eatery comes with a "surprise" that sets it apart from the other Oath Pizza locations: a self-service kiosk situated in the lobby.
"The ability to place an order using this will ensure ordering is a breeze and that our guests can enjoy a hassle-free and fun experience," the press release read.
Along with customizable pizzas, Oath's menu includes several curated options, along with cheesy breadsticks, salads, and even a dessert pizza.
Curated pizza offerings include the "Spicy Mother Clucker," topped with roasted chicken, pickled red onions, sriracha, spicy aioli, and scallions, and the "Bella," which comes loaded with roasted cherry tomatoes, roasted garlic, ricotta, balsamic drizzle, grana padano cheese, and fresh basil.
Oath Pizza has four other Massachusetts locations, in Cambridge, Chestnut Hill, Nantucket, and Somerville.
